The Delta Delta Delta house was built in 1984 and is located at 1503 Olympia Way in College Station. It is home to 48 girls, including four officers. Generally, girls live in the house during their Sophomore year or their second year of membership. The President, Vice President of Chapter Development, New Member Educator, and House Manager also live in the house. Among the many rooms of the house are: the chapter room, dining room, TV room, office, mini kitchen, guest "pansy" room, and an apartment for our house mother. Each of the two floors has one bathroom that all of the girls share, which makes getting dressed in the morning and getting ready for bed at night lots of fun!
Our house mother, Barbara Stuart, keeps everything in order. Her unending kindness helps to make the Tri Delt house a home away from home! Her son, Ben Stuart, is the leader of Breakaway Ministries on campus and is a constant uplifting spirit to not only the Texas A&M campus, but specifically to the ladies of Tri Delta.
At the house, there are three meals provided each day. All of the house girls get together in the dining room to eat their meals, and this is often a time where other members of the sorority come up to the house and visit. On the weekends there are always snacks in our "mini kitchen," where the girls can go to relax and grab a soda, eat a quick meal, or do their laundry.
Living in the Tri Delta House is a wonderful, unique experience for all of the girls that live there. It is a place full of love, laughter, and plenty of Tri Delta memories!
